Having roots from both Memphis TN and Cincinnati OH , Above Only is Justin James, Chad Yarger, Jeff Koontz and Mike Crandall. Through lyrics laced with hope and substance, yet relevant to today’s world, Above Only’s mission is to reach a lost and hurting world with a much needed message of change. Gut pounding bass, driving guitar riffs and catchy melodies are sure to grab you by the ears and penetrate your heart leaving you feeling as if your soul has been injected with the courage to take on your world. Above Only has been pounding the pavement and perfecting their craft since 2009 and has attracted a loyal fanbase in the meantime.
Having toured with Decyfer Down, “AO” has been gaining momentum in their quest. Working closely with Josh Oliver of the Grammy nominated band Decyfer Down / Legacy Artist Mgt and produced by Ben Kasica of the highly successful band Skillet. Above Only will be releasing their latest EP in Spring of 2012! Bound and determined to break the rock scene wide open Above Only is excited about the future and ready to make their way to your city!
